As the end of our 10th season draws very close, with 2 chalets in shut down , we want to take this opportunity to say a MASSIVE thank you to all our guests this year, we truly have enjoyed your company , also a MASSIVE thank you to our staff who have worked so very hard to ensure everyone had a wonderful holiday.
Let`s start by saying as I type this it is snowing ! and even though there is no doubt in anyones mind snow conditions this year have been poor , no one has claimed otherwise. Here at Aktiv Experience we feel yesterdays Times front page article and the almost identical article on the mail on line were in fact not a true representation of current conditions and could have been a little more positive on how hard the resorts and people who wok in them have worked to ensure people have a good skiing experience , and perhaps were (again) ill timed in their publication considering (as already mention) the snow is on its way this week and is in fact here!
Organising a family skiing in the 3 valleys trip can be a trying time for anyone, so many questions – where to go?, high resort?, low resort?, how longs the transfer from airport to resort? catered or self catered? , etc etc.

Looking to get an early season snow fix? look no further than the 3 valleys and Aktiv Experience, to celebrate the opening of winter 2016/2017 we are offering 7 nights catered chalet accommodation in Meribel and Courchevel at £199pp 16-23 Dec 2016,
This week I stumbled across an article on the Mpora site which can be found here : Mpora 18 Truths .
It is 18 truths only parents understand about taking kids skiing, and reading through it there are a few that struck a cord with me, in particular shouting “Pizza” at your child whizzing down the slopes and the “sitting down scowling a lot”,
So, it`s interseason and the resort is …. Quiet (is one word) although there is still life about and as such still fun to be had !
The resort is officially closed until Saturday July 4th 2015, when it re-opens with the CESNIMERIBEL Trail – 2.5km – 25km run in our wonderful mountain – For more info and registration check it out HERE : CESNIMERIBELfollowed by the Addict VTT tour on the 11th &
